Ethics in video game journalism is a heated subject in the industry -- to say the least -- with the gaming audience demanding both fair coverage and transparent, unbiased practices by journalists. This panel of working journalists in the field will clear the air and actually discuss the difficulty of ethics in a medium that is, at its roots, an enthusiast press. We will discuss everything from embargoes and relationships with PR, to advertising in the face of a free press and the polarization of social gaming topics such as race, gender, and sexual orientation.
